In response to seniors’ positive feedback and interest in connecting with younger generations, I created an intergenerational Lunar New Year zine project for Cantonese- and Mandarin-speaking seniors and youth to share and pass down their cultural experiences and traditions. With the shift online due to COVID, participants attended virtual sessions and created their pages at home. I collected and compiled these contributions into bilingual zines, now available in the Watertown Free Library collection.
